Who you are agreeing with

Raise101 is an online fundraising training service, operated by Charles Turner. These terms are the agreement between you and Raise101 for use of the site and the courses on it. Creating an account means you accept them.

What you get

A paid seat gives one person access to the fundraising courses, the graded exams, the CFRE practice exam, and any certificates they earn, for as long as the subscription is active. Seats are for one person. Sharing a login is the one thing that will get an account closed.

Raise101 is an independent training provider. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CFRE International. Working through the practice exam here does not register you for the CFRE exam, does not guarantee you will pass it, and is not a substitute for CFRE International’s own materials.

What we do not promise

The courses teach fundraising practice. They are education, not legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice. Nonprofit rules differ by state and by country, and your organization’s counsel or accountant is the right person to ask about your specific situation. Nothing here guarantees a fundraising result, a job, a promotion, or an exam score.

Paying for it

Individual plans are $49 per month for one person. Team plans are $49 per month for each person holding a seat, recalculated whenever you add or deactivate someone. Prices are in United States dollars and do not include any tax that may apply where you are.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Raise101 never sees or stores your card number. Your subscription renews automatically on the same day each period until you cancel.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Canceling stops the next charge. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your progress, exam history, and certificates are kept in case you come back.

Payments already made are not refunded. The full policy, including the narrow cases where we do issue one, is on the refunds and cancellation page.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If an administrator at your organization created your seat, they can see your course progress and exam scores, because that is the point of assigning training to a team. They cannot see your password.

We can suspend or close an account that shares logins, tries to break into other accounts, copies course material for redistribution, or is used to do something illegal.

The course material

The lessons, questions, and exams are ours. You may use them to learn and to train people on your own team who hold seats. You may not republish them, sell them, feed them into another product, or hand them to people who have not paid.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change materially affects what you are paying for, it will not apply to the period you have already paid for. Continuing to use Raise101 after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

Raise101 is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
