Privacy

What we collect

• Your account. Name, email address, job title if you give one, and the organization you belong to.
• Your password. Stored only as a scrypt hash. Nobody at Raise101 can read it, including us.
• Your coursework. Which lessons you have completed, your exam answers and scores, and any certificates you earn.
• Billing details. Your plan, seat count, renewal date, and the brand and last four digits of the card. The card number itself goes to Stripe and never reaches us.

What we do not collect

No advertising trackers, no third party analytics profiles, no data brokers. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. There is no tracking pixel on this site.

Who can see your coursework

If you pay for Raise101 yourself, only you and Raise101 can see it.

If an organization pays for your seat, the administrators at that organization can see your course progress, your exam scores, and your certificates. That is the purpose of assigning training to a team, and it is worth knowing plainly rather than discovering later. They cannot see your password, and they cannot see your individual exam answers question by question.

Cookies

One cookie, used to keep you signed in. It holds a signed reference to your account and nothing else. It is not used for tracking, which is why this site does not throw a cookie banner at you.

Who else is involved

• Stripe processes payments and holds your card details under their own privacy policy.
• Railway hosts the application and its database in the United States.
• Cloudflare serves the domain name, forwards mail sent to us, and stores the nightly backup of the database in the United States.
• Resend delivers the one message this site sends, which is a password reset link you asked for. It receives your email address and nothing else.

That is the entire list. Raise101 sends no marketing email, no newsletters, and no automated reminders, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Completion records are the kind of thing people need years later for a grant application, a CFRE application, or a job, so we do not quietly delete them when a subscription lapses.

Getting your data, or getting rid of it

Email hello@raise101.com from the address on your account and ask. We will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete it, within thirty days. Deletion is permanent and takes your certificates with it, so download anything you want to keep first.

If your seat is paid for by an organization, we will tell you when a deletion request affects a record that organization relies on, so nobody is surprised.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Sign in attempts are rate limited. Nobody can read a lesson without an active paid seat. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you rather than hope you do not notice.

Children

Raise101 is for working fundraisers. It is not intended for anyone under 16.
